花旗集團大虧 / Citigroup Reports Big Loss and a Breakup Plan

- 花旗集團財務長表示將計畫開始裁員，並在 2010 年初達到裁員的最高峰。同時抵押貸款的虧損已經快跟 1990 年代初期相近，置於信用卡造成的虧損則早就超過當時的情況。(Gary L. 從雀巢到公平交易
September 30th, 2008 Phanix最近因為三鹿毒奶的關係，讓雀巢這家大企業的名字又被人家提及。在台灣常見的雀巢產品有奶粉、隨身包裝咖啡以及一些瓶裝水，當然還有許許多多的產品。
事實上在去年就已經有一篇關於雀巢公司的黑暗面文章在破報上刊載(她╱他們的血在你的咖啡裡—921國際反雀巢日)，最近這篇文章因為三鹿毒奶事件而再次被大家所提及。而當看完這篇文章，或許心裡頭會有和看完血鑽石類似的感覺…
在更早之前，已經開始有接觸「公平交易」的咖啡、可可的資訊，可是當時在台灣要找到這樣的可可、咖啡非常的困難，雖然Starbucks也有在賣，不過也不是那麼容易的就可以買到（有時候在店裡並不會看到，可能是缺貨？）。而來到美國之後，發現要買到公平交易的咖啡要比台灣容易許多，有些咖啡店甚至是全部使用公平交易咖啡豆，而售價上和一般咖啡並無差異，甚至更為便宜。
當然，公司要賺錢本來就是天經地義，但是賺得太黑心實在就令人不恥了。除了咖啡、可可之外，賺很黑的瓶裝水也是少喝一點吧，跟汽油的價錢相比一下，不覺得他們賺太大了嗎？
