2010 Saint Cosme Gigondas “Le Poste”


flower of acacia, b ch., m+ tannin (very young), m+ acidity. dark chocolate, wood branches (dry). vanilla hint, honey hint.
Grenache nose of black fruit candies. leather note. peach note. black pepper note at the end of lingering palate.
m+ body. Not a traditional strong Gigondas style, very elegant.
Very beautiful for now, but can also age for a long time.

2009 Domaine Santa Duc Gigondas “Les Hautes Garrigues”


black truffle, ripe black cherry, flower petal hint. black pepper hint. grenache fruit candy hint. leather. mashed grass.
rasp berry and black cherry on the palate. goes with h acidity and h tannin. full body. long length. ink, black pepper.
high alc. Need aging.

2007 Domaine Saint Damien Gigondas “Souteyrades”


lychee hint, cherry, plum. black dry mushroom, flower. Hospital alc note in nose.
black currant, dust, flower note.
h alc. m+ tannin (smooth enough), full body.
Need aging.

2007 Domaine de la Janasse Cotes du Rhone “Les Garrigues”


dark chocolate, smoky meat, leather, a bit fur. the color starts to turn into garnet, medium in depth. starts to show aged nose.
grenache fruit candy on the palate. m+ tannin (still has strong structure). m+ acidity.
Good for now, can still keep for aging, although I think should drink it in 3 yrs.
