- Structure (logical organization)
- tree-like
- no spaghetti
- pre-order traversal for presentation
- Prescise title
- no "new algo.", "high performace", "efficient"
- Abstract
- can no longer be abstracted
- never explain motivation
- treat it as a press release, advertisement
- Paragraph
- one point in one paragraph
- main point in the first sentence, and the others are "supported" sentences.
- 看圖說故事
- a graph is better than words and numbers.
- Pick up a style and stick w/ it.
- Revise, revise, revise, ...
- read it loud
- peer critic
- no redundancy (don't repeat)
- leave no hole
- alternatives
- 30 times shall be enough (驚)
- 把不要的東西拿掉(如果這句話拿掉對整篇論文沒有影響，就幹掉吧)
