As smelling and drinking, this beautiful label wine gives me an impression of southern France style, and reminds me M. Chapoutier Côtes du Roussillon Villages 2008 Latour Domaine de Bila-Haut. Not as rich as Bila-Haut, but it still has similar wild flavors. After checking the information on Internet, this wine is from Minervois AOC, which is nearby Côtes du Roussillon AOC (Bila-Haut's region).
Wet dog fur (interesting and not-disgusting), black berry, pepper, mint. Dense nose aromas, but the body is not so strong. A little pepper spicy with some dry date (黑棗) palate. Still young, so that the finish is a little bitter.
