I just got this wine from Benjack a few days ago. We planned to drink it together at the beginning, but he can't wait for it due to my busy for errands. Though, I still expect how it shows, even it's de-corked for a few days.

Medium+ ruby.

Medium nose starts with black cherry and black pepper, with oak barrel and spices hints beneath. After 1 hour breathing (Well, I almost forget I poured one glass of Sin Zin...), it shows concentrative and elegant raspberry and violet bouquet, and also vanilla nose. Very fascinating!

The medium+ body goes with velvet medium tannin, and is very balanced with the medium acidity. The dry palate includes very dense black cherry jam and raspberry jam. Besides, also feel wood, black pepper and chocolate circulating in mouth. Its lingering after palate shows interesting dry black date note with the berries sweetness flavors.

After checking its official data, I found this amazing Zinfendel just won Gold - 2010 Sonoma Harvest Fair!!!

2010/12/18 Update:
Surprised again. Today I use Riedel Vitis glassware to drink the left 125ml (sealed in a full filled small glass bottle), the nose is still brilliant and fabulous. Black berry jam, bouquet, chocolate and vanilla, with black pepper and black tea hints.
Still full body and big and young tannin. However, the palate is not as good as before, the acidity is sharper but still elegant. The spicy palate also becomes more notable. Black tea, black pepper and black berry.
