WSET & ISG 聚餐

中央市場熱炒

個人覺得糖醋排骨、湯類都還不錯,秋刀魚有點可惜太熟了一點點。整體來說便宜又大碗 😀

以下,飲酒過量有礙身體健康。

從左邊開始...
Louis Jadot 2010 Beaujolais Village Premier Nouveau. Medium ruby, fresh berries with sweet emblematic Beaujoulais Nouveau nose.

Swartland Winery Demi-Sec Sparkling. Bubble is not so small and smooth. Muscato lychee/peach sweet medium nose. The palate is not so sweet, with light bouquet. Not a perfect sparkling, but good as a starter of dinning occasion.

Charles Smith 2006 Holy Cow Riesling. Mineral, citrus with light petrol. The palate is light and easy to drink, some apple note.

Heimbourg 2004 Riesling. From Alsace, medium gold appearance. Dense nose, the nose is quite similar to slightly aged Mosel Spartlese Riesling, but the palate is much more strong and complex.

Two Hands 2008 Shiraz McLaren Vale. Strong new world Shiraz. Pronounced nose and strong palate. Berry jam, chocolate and black pepper.

San Pedro 35 South Sauvignon Blanc 2010. Quit a new release; quite a guava.

Drappier Champagne Brut. Light but familiar protein nose (from yeast). Apple, pear and some citrus.

Palais de Versailles Blanc de Blanc. Fresh nose. Quit a simply version of previous Champagne.

Penfolds GrandFather Port. Coffee and chocolate, with caramel hint. Well, I dislike the notable alcohol nose, so I prefer the other LBV port.

Vinadecanes (Vina De Canes ?) 2003 Crianza Bierzo. Mencia, an unfamiliar variety. My third Mencia till now, but all three bottles I tried are totally different. Interesting, but need more information survey. Smells like light Bourgogne red, but the palate is more earthy and grass and veg. note.

Cantina Zaccagnini Tralcetto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC. I drink this one after Two Hands, so... almost nothing in nose and palate which are still dominated by Two Hands. XD

Blue Nun Riesling. Fresh green fruits and grass and light honey tone.

Warre's 2000 LBV Port. More fruity than the other Port. I like it. 😛

Barocco 2009 Primitivo. Puglia region, Italy. Not so dense as other Primitivo or Zinfandel I'd had. Lighter body and fruity. Light chocolate nose.

Eventide cellar 2006 Classic Syrah. South Africa. More similar to Rhone Syrah style than Australia style. Good spicy and the fruity flavors are not too over. The only shortcoming is the length in palate.

R0018502
Torres Vina Esmeralda 2009. Catalonia, Spain. Muscat, Muscat, and Muscat.

Ceretto Monsordo. CS+Merlot+Syrah+Nebbiolo. A "magnum opus" (great work) of Ceretto. Quite a powerful competitor to Bordeaux, Super Toscana, and new world C.S./Merlot blending. Nose and palate are dominated by C.S. and Merlot.

Mouton 1992. OMG! Elegant! But seems at the last phase of its peak? In personal opinion, too wasting for this party occasion. T____T

漏了那隻 Jura... 下圖照片是偷來的。

Arbois, an AOC in Jura region. Poulsard is a red grape variety with thin skin, so the color of Poulsard red is light. Besides, Poulsard is also easy to be "oxidized". In Jura, Poulsard is usually blended with Pinot Noir (another permitted variety in Jura, the other one is Trousseau), but this one is 100% Poulsard.
The appearance is typical "corail" red (like pale black tea). Light berry fruity with baked nuts hint, and slight savory flavor. (in personal, need one more trial of Jura wine).
