[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium garnet with ruby hue. Black cherry, rose petal, dry wood branch. With tar, wet soil, and rot leaves noses at the beginning, but decrease after 30 mins. High tannin, high acidity. Long length. Needs 30 mins breathing.

Azienda Agricola Cagliero Barolo DOCG Ravera 2007

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium ruby color. Black berry, plum, strawberry, light tar nose, light rose floral, light vanilla, cream, caramel, and a note of red apple skin. Similar to Mauro Molino, needs more than 30 mins breathing.

Azienda Agricola Cogno Barolo DOCG Cascina Nuova 2008

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium- ruby color. Tar, dry wood branches, strawberry, cranberry, bread, rose petal water, and light grass. As a 2008 vintage, the structure is a bit loose, probably an early mature style.

Michele Chiarlo Barolo DOCG Tortoniano 2007

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium- ruby with garnet hue. Cranberry, strawberry, wooden note, light tar. High in tannin and acidity. Long length, but a bit shorter than other Barolo wines tonight. Personally think an early maturing style Barolo.

Michele Chiarlo Barbaresco DOCG Reyna 2007

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium- ruby with garnet hue. Black berry, cranberry, light mint, black cherry, licorice. High in tannin and acidity.
Personally think an early maturing style Barbaresco.
