[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] Guess 2013, California Merlot. Answer is 2013, Stellenbosch Pinotage.
A bit difficult to guess, because no too much clue characteristics. Need more efforts to practice S.A. wines.

[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] Guess 2014 Pinot Noir from Marlborough, Answer is 2011 Oregon Pinot Noir. Pinot style flavor. The acidity is medium to medium(+), a bit alcohol mouthfeel, so apparently a New World Pinot. Not an earthy style Willamette stuff, much red fruit flavor mislead me to guess Marlborough Pinot.

[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] Guess 2013 Camenere from Conchagua, Chile. Answer is Merlot, 2014. Chile herbal green aroma, not high tannin, so it should be Merlot or Camenere. Need more practices to distinguish Merlot and Camenere from Chile.

[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] Guess 2013 Shiraz from Barossa Valley, Answer is 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Totally wrong, mislead by the chocolate and creamy and vanilla and dense black fruit. No pepper spicy flavor to determine it's Shiraz.

[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] Guess C.S. based Bordeaux blend from Coonawara, 2008. Answer is Merlot+C.S. from S.A., 2009. A bit wrong again, trapped down by S.A. again.

[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] Very green and herbal style, and the tannin is not so well structured, so I guess Camenere from Conchagua 2012 vintage. A bit wrong again.
