Matèle Jean Le Blanc 2009

Chardonnay variety, but interestingly has a bit green grass and leaves nose at the beginning that may misdirect one consider this as a varietal Sauvignon Blanc or blended with Semillon. The green nose disappeared after swirling, and shows the fresh lemon flavors with beneath melon fruit note in the pale straw color. Then turns into creamy style, which is contributed by élevé en fùts de Chéne. Creamy flavor can also be sensed on the palate, besides the active apple, citrus and stony notes. Might related to above-average California oak style Chardonnay. This 600 blt/yr VDP du Lot Chardonnay provides proper length, personally thinks a good pair w/ cream sauce plates.

Chardonnay品種,但最開始有著類似青草與樹葉味道,令人聯想到Sauvignon Blanc或者與Semillon的混調。這股植物味道散去後才顯現出Chardonnay的本質,帶有檸檬的香氣與一些瓜類香味,拜木桶之賜之後轉為奶香。在口中的香氣也帶有奶香,另外還有鮮明的蘋果、柑橘類與碎石味道。會令人聯想到中上水準的加州入桶Chardonnay。這款整瓶年產量600的Vin de Pays du Lot,拿來搭配白醬餐點應該不錯。

Matèle Chéne Truffier 2008

Ha, what an interesting name, the Oak Truffle.

Leather, black currant, wet soil with rot leaves, light creamy. Turns into straw berry and becomes similar to Beaujolais style noses after more breathing.

Medium-high tannin, especially on lips. Straw berry, grass, light creamy, dry wood, licorice and clove on the palate. Distinct at the beginning, converge with proper length. Must good with steaks.


皮革、黑醋栗、濕土壤與腐葉、些微的奶油味道。後轉為草莓味道,之後更變得有點像薄酒萊的香氣。

口中可以感受到偏多的單寧,特別在嘴唇上容易感受到。草莓、草、奶油、乾木頭、甘草與丁香。入口濃郁且收斂。一定適合搭配排餐。

Domaine la Borie 2007 Froment Vigneron

Froment. Ha!

Pronounced nose, begins with leather and black cherry and green pepper. Turns into truffle and bouquet.

Medium-high tannin. Black berry and black pepper. Palate is a bit weaker than the nose. A bit boring after the preceding Chéne Truffier.


香氣明顯。先有皮革、黑櫻桃與青椒味道,後來出現有松露與花香。

偏高的單寧。黑莓與黑胡椒味道。整體來說口感比香氣來的偏弱一些,另外應該在前一款的Chéne Truffier之前喝,要不然酒體比較弱被前後夾擊,讓人印象較不深刻。

Le Domaine de Mériguet 2009 Les Jumeaux

From the 1st to this, I am sure the ppl in Cahors are really interesting. Jumeaux, haha!

Deep- ruby. Black cherry, leather, bouquet, mint, chocolate, vanilla note, light floral honey. More fruity and more floral honey after breathing.

Due to élevé en fùts de Chéne, palate has coffee flavor, besides the pickled plum, clove and anise. High acidity. Stronger than the next one.


深紅寶石色。黑櫻桃、皮革、花香、薄荷、巧克力、淡淡香草氣息、還有些微的花蜜香味。醒酒之後果相與花蜜香味變得更加濃郁。

入口有巧克力、醃李子、丁香、八角味道。酸度偏高。整體來說比後者更為粗壯。

Mériguet 2008 Cahors Malbec

Cinnamon, onion, mineral, eucalyptus, metal. Similar to the preceding Les Jumeaux 2009, shows more fruity and honey nose after breathing.

High in tannin and acidity. Mineral, eucalyptus leaves, dry grass, leather. Quick dry and convergence mouthfeel.


肉桂、洋蔥、金屬、礦石與尤加利葉味道。跟前者類似,在醒酒之後轉為莓果香味與花蜜香氣。

酸度跟單寧都頗高。礦石、尤加利葉、乾草、皮革味道。口感的收斂依舊很明顯。

Chambert Gourmand 2008 Fruité Intense

fruity berries of black berry and black cherry, charming aromas of bouquet and vanilla, honey, leather and dust.

High in tannin and acidity. Mint, grass, black berry, chocolate, and plum. Apple note at the lingering end.


黑色莓果類味道,迷人的花香、蜜香以及香草味道。另外還有皮革與灰塵氣味。

高酸度高丹寧。薄荷、青草、黑莓、巧克力、李子。攸長尾韻中有蘋果香。

Chateau de Chambert 2005 Collector

Black berry jam, blue berry, mandarin medicine, dust, hazelnut, mint.

A bit aged flavor, pickled vegetables, wood, pickled fruit. Tannin is still high, can keep for a few years.


莓果類味道濃郁,草本、中藥味,灰塵,榛果,涼薄荷味道。

入口有點陳年的氣味,類似醃蔬菜醃水果,還有木頭氣味。依舊有著高丹寧,還可以再陳放幾年。

Chateau Chambert Malbec 2008 and 2009

These two are similar, so I put them together.

08 vintage seems not as good as 09, so you can sense more oak barrel process flavors in 08 vintage, like vanilla. Besides, 08 vintage provides more fresh fruity and gravel nose. 2009 vintage contributes more deep noses, more dark fruit, leather, black mushroom. 2009 turns into bouquet, wood and vanilla noses after breathing; as a comparison, 08 vintage seems flatter.

09 vintage has a bit more tannin than 08, but both are high. 08 vintage has medium-high acidity, caramel, black berry, and chocolate. 08 vintage shows a bit sugarcane flavor of Argentina malbec after breathing. 09 vintage has high and lingering acidity, black berry, black pepper and leather. 2009 vintage has good aging potential.


08年份在氣味上可以感受到更多來自木桶的氣味,像是香草。整體上08年的特色是果香較為新鮮,還有一些石頭味道。09年份的香氣就相對深沈許多,黑色莓果類、皮革以及乾香菇味道。醒酒之後09年份出現花香、木頭以及香草味道。相較之下08年份的氣味變化就比較平板一點。

09年份的單寧比08來得多一些,不過兩者都算是高丹寧。08的酸度偏高,有焦糖、黑莓以及巧克力味道。醒酒之後08年份喝起來出現了阿根廷Malbec的甘蔗味道。09年份的酸度更高且延續時間很長,黑莓、黑胡椒以及皮革味道。陳年實力以09年份較為優異。

Chateau de Chambert Orphée 2005

Compare to 2005 Collector, nose is younger and more elegant and more fruity.

High acidity and high tannin. Not as strong as 2005 Collector. Spicy, black berry, chocolate, light leather, caramel. This one shows the elegance potential of Malbec.


跟2005 Collector相比,這款Orphée顯得更為年輕有活力,同時也更具有果香,也更為優雅。

一樣是高酸度與高丹寧,但是沒有2005 Collector那麼強壯,反倒是展現Malbec優雅的潛力。辛香料、黑莓、巧克力、焦糖以及些微皮革味道。

Chateau de Chambert 2009 Grand Vin

Very dense and concentrated in the nose and palate. Chocolate, caramel, hazelnut, leather, light vanilla, honey hint, black berry and tea leaves. High acidity, high tannin, very well structured, lingering.

不論是嗅聞或者是品飲時的香氣都非常的集中濃郁。巧克力、焦糖、榛果、皮革、一些香草味道、蜂蜜、黑莓與茶葉。高酸度、高丹寧、結構非常強壯良好,餘韻攸長。
