Le Corti, Principe Corsini, Chianti Classico DOCG 2007

Fruity flavor of black berry, plum, and pomegranate. black pepper, light wood (aged in big barrel for 1 yr), light flower, and dry mint. Has chocolate note at palate. Medium tannin and medium+ acidity. At its peak stage.

Il Carbonaione, IGT Toscana 2003

aged in Slovakia oak barrel for 14 months
Pronounced nose with black currant, wet soil with rot leaves and leather, clove, chocolate, violet bouquet, and a bit fried chips smell.
Full body, medium+ tannin, medium+ acidity. Long length.

Il Carbonaione, IGT Toscana 2005

aged in Slovakia oak barrel for 14 months
Also pronounced nose, but a bit denser than 03 vintage. Blue berry, hazelnut, vanilla, grass spices, and cinnamon.
Full body, medium+ tannin, medium+ acidity. Long length. The nose and palate are much younger than 03 vintage.

Capogatto, Poggio Scalette, IGT Toscana 2007

18 months in french oak. Very similar to Bordeaux style nose (cooler vintage). Black currant, eucalyptus leaves, and leather. Herbaceous. High tanning.

La Querce, IGT Toscana 2007

18 months in Slovakia barrel. The nose is quite close at the beginning. This wine needs 2+ hrs breathing. Black berry, dry wood branches, licorice, light creamy. Need more aging, it will be better.

Le Corti, Sant'Andrea, Corsini Vinsanto, DOC Vinsanto del Chianti Classico 1999

Coffee, slightly oxidized style flavors, walnuts, dry fruits, honey, raisin, pickled plum, caramel. High acidity, very sweet.
