Medium+ nose, still a bit green note, majorly black berry, dry plum, pickled squash note, wet soil, gravel note, leather, oak, and a hint of bouquet. Medium+ body, medium+ acidity, medium+ alc., and medium+ length. The palate is a bit savory. The tannin is medium+ and firm, but a bit rough.

香氣中偏高，仍然帶有一些青草味道，但以黑莓、乾李子、醃漬醬瓜氣味、濕土壤、皮革為主，帶有一些石頭、木桶與花香氣味。口感有點鹹感，酸度、酒精杜、酒體、餘韻都是中上。單寧仍很緊緻，但有點不夠細緻。

SY Rating: 16/20

25% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 70% Merlot. Fermentation in 50% thermoregulated stainless, and 50% in cement vat. Aging in barrel (50% new & 50% old) for 15~18 months. Currently under consulting of Michel Rolland.

Basically 2001 is not a bad vintage for St. Emilion, but I think this St. Emilion Grand Cru Classe chateau did not make a wine match the vintage level (probably they are in the conversion phase).
