Lemon light stony, light yeast note, honey note. Medium+ acidity. Medium+ length. A good Vire-Clesse, and the price of this AOC is also very reasonable (competitive with many Bourgogne blanc).

Seguin Manuel Puligny Montrachet 1er cru La Garenne 2011

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] A bit gooseberry note, light green leaves of eucalyptus, flint, stony, light gasoline, citrus, oak, and peanut candy. A bit bitterness at the end. High acidity, but is well balanced with the flavors and body.

Thenard Montrachet Grand cru 2010

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Thenard is the 2nd largest vineyard owner in Montrachet, around 1.86 ha (the largest is Marques de Laguiche, own 2.06 ha, but the grapes are vinified by Drouhin).
Quite a elegant and thin Montrachet. The nose and palate is unadorned, not dazzling. Hazelnut, flower, honey, light caramel, stony, and oak. High in acidity. Need 10+ yrs for the peak.

Thenard Givry 1er cru Bois Chevaux 2010

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium- ruby color. Fruit candy of Raspberry and cranberry, light soil, and light leaves. A fruity driven Pinot Noir. Medium+ acidity, medium body, with lingering length. Quite a fresh and easy Bourgogne, and definitely a must buy stuff (considering the price).
Bois Chevaux is the largest 1er cru vineyard Thenard own in Givry, around 7.66 ha.

Thenard Corton Clos du Roi Grand cru 2010

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium+ ruby color. Black berry, black cherry, light earthy, light fresh cut grass, oak, caramel, butter, and creamy. Very charming style. High acidity. Medium+ tannin (firm and velvet). Long length. 5 yrs aging for the peak.
