Bellene源自古高盧文，意指太陽神，相當於古希臘神話中的阿波羅，也是勃根地Beaune在18世紀前的古稱。Domaine Bellene 與 Maison Roche de Bellene都是Nicolas Potel的產業，差別在於Domaine是自有葡萄園(前身為Domaine Nicolas Potel)，而Maison為negociant酒款，為收購葡萄或葡萄酒銷售的品牌。關於Nicolas Potel，可以參考這一篇。

Domaine 酒款跟 Mainson 酒款還有一個差異，就是 capsule 不一樣。

Maison Roche de Bellene 2011 Bourgogne Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes

Domaine de Bellene 2011 Saint Romain Vieilles Vignes Blanc

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Stony, lemon skin, pineapple, light flint, light floral and honey. High acidity, long length. Domaine wine, although a village class wine, the complexity is quite good.

Maison Roche de Bellene 2011 Saint Aubin 1er cru Le Charmois Blanc

Maison Roche de Bellene 2011 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium ruby color. 56-88 yrs vines, matured in old barrel. Medium acidity and tannin (soft and silky). Black berry, cranberry, light leaves note, light soil, light leather, and light flower.

Personal guess: some malolactic fermentation, majorly from cote de Beaune.
Personal opinion: similar to chanson 10', better than chanson 12'.

Maison Roche de Bellene 2011 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] 50~68 yrs old vines, aged in barrel (35% new) for around 1 yr. Medium ruby color with purple hue. Cranberry, light soil, light flower, black cherry. High acidity, medium body, and long length. Fruity style, due to the grapes are majorly comes from the lower part of Chambolle-Musigny.

Maison Roche de Bellene 2011 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Lavaux Saint Jacques

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Many oak note, quite creamy (50% new barrel). Cream, vanilla, dense black berry, light soil, light moss. High acidity. Palate intensity is a bit behind the nose.

Maison Roche de Bellene 2010 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Black berry, spicy, grass, herbs, gummy bear jelly. Medium+ body and tannin (still firm, probably 10 yrs aging to see its peak). Anise bitterness at the lingering palate end.

Compare to regular Charmes-Chambertin, this Maison wine shows more flavors of fur, beast, and soil.
