[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Medium+ nose. Green bean soup, passion fruit, peach, mango, guava, light cream. High acidity, rounded mouthfeel (2 weeks sur lie after fermentation). Fruity style (low temperature fermentation 11~14 degree, and 4 hours skin contact maceration in advance), more rounded than New Zealand Sauvignon, not so green note as Chile.

Similar to Sancere style, but the nose and palate is not strong enough. Lemon, stony, fresh grass.

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Fleur du Cap does not have their own vineyards. Although grapes are from contract growers, the quality of Fleur du Cap is still good.

Pronounced nose, guava, passion fruit, asparagus, fig, floral, and perfume. High acidity (but a bit lower than Durbanville Hills and Palaisir de Merle), long length. Very similar to Kim Crawford.

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Pronounced nose, oak, butter, vanilla, peach, orange, and a bit of acacia. High acidity, lingering length. Very typical oaked chardonnay. Using old barrel (2 and 3 times) for 8 months aging, and battonage every 2 weeks.

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Black cherry, black currant, BBQ note, tobacco, smoke, green pepper, light eucalyptus, and notes of cream, yeast, and butter (third/fourth old barrel for 4 months, no malolactic fermentation). Medium length, kind of easy-to-drink style, the palate is a bit lighter than the nose.

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] Black berry, black currant, more fruity nose than "filtered" Fleur du Cap Cabernet Sauvignon 2011. Black pepper, eucalyptus leaves, light sugarcane note, vanilla, cream, oak. Medium+ tannin, medium+ acidity, long length.
